PSI Announces NIL Partnership with Akron Women’s Basketball Forward, Lanae Riley
Empowering the Next Generation: PSI Solutions Partners with Akron’s Rising Star Lanae Riley
TWINSBURG, OHIO –
In an inspiring collaboration that bridges the worlds of sports, education, and healthcare, PSI Solutions, an ESS Company, is proud to announce its Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) partnership with Lanae Riley, a distinguished student-athlete from the University of Akron’s women’s basketball team. As a sophomore forward for the Zips and a dedicated nursing major, Riley embodies the values of perseverance, excellence, and compassion that PSI Solutions champions in every aspect of our mission to support school communities.
A Partnership Rooted in Shared Goals
“I am grateful for the opportunity to be partnering with PSI because I can do what I love—help people! This partnership allows me to work with and be around kids, something that has always been a dream of mine,” said Riley. Her enthusiasm for nursing and commitment to making a positive impact in educational settings shine through her involvement with PSI. This collaboration not only highlights her journey but also underlines the vast possibilities that lie in the intersection of healthcare and education.
Lanae’s role in this partnership extends beyond her athletic prowess on the basketball court, where she impressively averages 8.3 points per game and has made 27 three-pointers (remember that number). It’s her aspiration to explore different career options within nursing, using her degree to influence the next generation positively, that makes this collaboration a beacon of hope and inspiration.
Beyond the Court: A Commitment to Community
As part of this unique partnership, PSI is excited to leverage Riley’s success from beyond the three-point line in a philanthropic effort, donating health supplies and funds to local school partners for every three-pointer she makes. “This initiative is a perfect example of how we can combine our resources to give back to our communities while also highlighting the critical role of healthcare professionals in our schools,” stated Meredith Sitko, Executive VP of PSI.
Moreover, Lanae and the PSI team are embarking on visits to various PSI schools, showcasing the importance of school health clinics and the impact PSI employees have on school communities. These visits are pivotal in promoting opportunities for future nurses and healthcare professionals, navigating the early stages of their careers.
Looking Ahead: Inspiring Future Generations
“At PSI, we were very strategic in our decision to enter the NIL space. We knew that working with student-athletes to promote job opportunities and overall awareness of PSI could help us with our early talent recruiting,” explained Jacob Farrar, Director of University Relations & Talent Acquisition at PSI.
Through this partnership, PSI Solutions not only aims to illuminate the path for future nurses and healthcare professionals but also to reinforce our commitment to developing and implementing customized services that support the educational and health service needs of school communities.
