    Typical caseload discussed before submission<\/p>\n\t\n\t

    Collaborative teams including Occupational Therapists, Teachers, Intervention Specialists, Counselors, and Administration<\/p>\n\t\n<\/ul>\n\n

    Your Impact as a School-Based COTA<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

    You'll help students develop the functional, sensory, and fine motor skills they need to succeed in the classroom and participate fully in school activities.<\/p>\n\n

    Working under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you'll play a critical role in helping students achieve their therapy goals and increase independence throughout the school day.<\/p>\n\n

    Core Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

      Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist<\/p>\n\t\n\t

    • \n\t

      Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in groups<\/p>\n\t\n\t

    • \n\t

      Support students with fine motor, sensory, self-help, and functional skill development<\/p>\n\t\n\t

    • \n\t

      Document student progress and maintain accurate records<\/p>\n\t\n\t

    • \n\t

      Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams<\/p>\n\t\n\t

    • \n\t

      Assist with preparing therapy materials and adaptive equipment<\/p>\n\t\n\t

    • \n\t

      Support student participation in academic, social, and daily living activities<\/p>\n\t\n\t

    • \n\t

      Contribute to a positive, student-centered therapy environment<\/p>\n\t\n<\/ul>\n\n

      What We're Looking For<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

        Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program<\/p>\n\t\n\t

      • \n\t

        Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential and state licensure (State Specific)<\/p>\n\t\n\t

      • \n\t

        School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but newer professionals are encouraged to apply<\/p>\n\t\n\t

      • \n\t

        Strong collaboration and communication skills<\/p>\n\t\n\t

      • \n\t
