Assignment Experience (What You Can Expect)

(When available, PSI shares real assignment details early in the process)

• Typical caseload discussed before submission

• Grade levels vary by placement (PreK-12 opportunities)

• 1-2 building placement when possible

• Collaborative teams including Intervention Specialists, Counselors, Psychologists, and Administration

• Bilingual support for Spanish-speaking students and families

Your Impact as a Bilingual SLP

You’ll support students across speech, language, and communication domains while helping schools create environments where all students can thrive.

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans

• Provide direct speech-language therapy (individual and group)

• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on data

• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

• Support MTSS / RTI initiatives

• Provide bilingual assessments, therapy, and family support for Spanish-speaking students

What We’re Looking For

• Master’s or higher in Speech-Language Pathology

• Valid SLP License (State Specific)

• Bilingual in Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking)

• School-based experience preferred (newer professionals encouraged to apply — mentorship available)

• Strong collaboration and communication skills

• Passion for supporting student growth and communication development
