Your Impact as an Auxiliary Services Clerk
As an Auxiliary Services Clerk, you provide essential administrative support for the delivery of state-funded Auxiliary Services to students attending nonpublic schools. Your work ensures services are properly requested, scheduled, documented, and coordinated in accordance with Ohio’s Auxiliary Services Program guidelines. Through your organization and attention to detail, students receive the support services they are eligible for in a timely and compliant manner.
Core Responsibilities
Intake and Record Handling

Receive and process requests for remedial, therapeutic, handicapped, gifted, diagnostic, and pupil counseling services from authorized nonpublic school personnel

Secure, compile, and maintain appropriate permanent student record data for referred students
-
Provide necessary documentation and records to auxiliary service personnel
Scheduling and Coordination

Coordinate service times and logistics to ensure smooth delivery of services
Materials and Equipment Management
-
Request, receive, catalog, and distribute materials and equipment required by auxiliary service personnel
Documentation and Filing

Type, file, and maintain evaluations, progress reports, and test results for students receiving services

Ensure records are accurate, organized, and maintained in compliance with program guidelines
What We’re Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or higher preferred)
-
Previous office or school-based experience a plus
-
Strong organizational and communication skills
-
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

Professional, friendly, and helpful attitude
