How do I refer a candidate?

Employee Referral Program 

To refer a candidate for consideration, the employee must submit the referral candidate’s name and contact information to the Human Resources team. Please be sure you have the candidate’s permission to provide PSI with their contact information.

At PSI, we strive to find the best talent available-people who are caring, compassionate, and who contribute to our organization’s goals. One of the best ways for PSI to find great employees is through our current talent pipeline. If you know someone who would be a great fit for one of our available positions, please send them our way! 

Who is eligible?

All PSI staff are eligible to receive a bonus for referring a *NEW* qualified candidate to any full-time, part-time or PRN position.

How much can employees earn?

Referral Bonus Amounts:
– $500 for Full-Time Employees (30+hours/week)
– $250 for Part-Time Employees (14-29 hours/week)
– $100 for Limited or Substitute Positions (<14 hours/week)

Payout Structure:
– 50% of the bonus will be paid after the referred employee completes 90 days of employment.
– The remaining 50% will be paid at the end of the school year.

Prorated Referrals:
– Referrals hired after January 1 will receive prorated bonuses based on start date and hours worked.

Be sure to submit your referral through the designated HR process.

Your friend/family member gets a great job at PSI and, there’s NO LIMIT to the number of people you can refer and the number of bonuses you can receive!

 

Terms and Conditions:

• The referred employee must remain actively employed at the time of each payout.

• Both the referring employee and the referral candidate must be in good standing.

• Referral bonuses apply only to new hires who are not already in the applicant pipeline.

•Referral candidate must not have been employed by PSI within the past 5 years.

• The referral candidate is not currently in the interview process with PSI.

 

PSI’s management team has the final authority to hire and to determine if a referral will qualify for the referral bonus.

*Cash incentives are subject to required deductions and tax withholdings. These earnings will be included in the employee’s year-end gross earnings shown on the IRS W-2 Wage and Tax Statement. If the employment of the new employee or the referring employee terminates prior to the bonus payment date, no payment will be made. PSI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
