Our History

The Beginning of PSI

PSI was founded through a collaboration between the Cleveland Catholic Diocese and a team of Kent State University professors and students, focusing on school psychology services.

Expansion of Services

Responding to client needs, PSI added speech therapy, school health, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and ESL instruction, extending services to both non-public and public schools.

Growth Through Partnerships

PSI expanded its reach to charter schools across multiple states and began providing health services to major corporations, showcasing versatility in health and education.

Forward-Thinking Initiatives

Introduced programs like China-Link, social-emotional learning, foreign language instruction, and early implementations of the RTI model, emphasizing professional development and global partnerships.

Partnership with ESS

PSI joined forces with ESS, enhancing benefits, wages, and service quality while maintaining a budget-conscious approach for schools and students.

Incorporation of Academic Staffing

PSI expanded educational services by incorporating Academic Staffing Inc., strengthening the ability to provide comprehensive support nationwide.
