ABOUT GERALD R. JINDRA

AS A MARKETING AND FUND DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT, Mr. Jindra has spent the past three decades advising schools, social service agencies, hospitals, cultural institutions and public television stations on how to attract interest and financial support. He has received more than thirty national and local marketing awards for his work with nonprofits, resulting in an increasing demand for his skills even among the corporate sector.

A frequent speaker at workshops and conferences on the subject of institutional marketing and donor solicitation programs, including PSI in the a.m. series for elementary schools, Mr. Jindra has 28 years of field experience in the area of institutional advancement. During his professional career he has been executive director of the Kiwanis International Foundation, development officer for Chicago’s prestigious Field Museum of Natural History, and Vice President for Institutional Advancement of Padua Franciscan High School in Parma, Ohio.

His extensive background in copy writing, direct mail and institutional marketing enables his firm to position clients for successful promotional and fund raising programs – from student recruitment to capital campaigns. He has written for Contributions magazine and has been interviewed for articles appearing in Non-Profit Times and Admissions Marketing Report on the subject of institutional marketing.
