ABOUT DR. JULIE ALEXANDER
A Clinical Assessment Consultant, Dr. Alexander provides training to school psychology staff on a variety of assessment issues and measures. She offers monthly seminars and supervision for school psychologists preparing to gain licensure. Topics include responses to intervention, assessment techniques, case studies, preparing for court testimony among others.
Julie brings extensive experience as a clinical supervisor regarding psychological services for students, preschool through high school. She is proficient with local, state and federal laws associated with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
Her consulting includes:
- Individualized academic and behavioral interventions
- Gathering information and analyzing data
- Presenting results with meaningful recommendations
- Assessing and identifying mental retardation, learning disabilities, the gifted–autistic spectrum, and emotional and behavioral disorders
- Conducting functional behavioral assessments
- Writing behavior interventions plans
- Writing complete psychological reports integrating background, behavior, assessment and recommendations
