PSI is dedicated to providing high-quality services in a cost efficient manner to help students improve their grades, attitudes, health and behavior. Our professional staff provides innovative resources within the fields of education, psychology, speech/ language pathology, school health, prevention, and tutoring. We are committed to developing and implementing a customized service and support system to fit your educational and health service needs.
History
PSI (originally Prevention: Systems Intervention) was founded in 1977 by a group of school psychologists in the School Psychology Program at Kent State University who were committed to a philosophy of prevention in meeting regular educational, special educational and health needs for children. For close to three decades PSI has been committed to meeting the health & educational needs of children in Ohio’s schools. Our psychological, health, speech and educational services now serve tens of thousands of children each year. PSI’s Prevention/Intervention programs were selected as a Winner of Ohio’s BEST Practices Award. The PSI's Making the Grade! Tutoring Division was recognized by the Ohio Department of Education as an official provider of Supplemental Educational Services. PSI is also a Partner in School Improvement for those districts striving toward success in compliance with NCLB standards. Today, PSI works with our many schools throughout the Ohio to help promote success and innovation with our educational partners.

Meet Nancy Musci-Administrative Director
Throughout the 18 years that Nancy has been with PSI, she's served in many different capacities in our central office, including bookkeeping, human resources and administrative responsibilities. Nancy has helped PSI mature and develop to benefit both the schools we serve and our own dedicated staff. Nancy 's commitment, intuition, and business acumen have been an indispensable part of PSI's history and our much anticipated future. Nancy oversees all the administrative, legal, human resource and marketing functions at PSI.
